Halde · Studio website and identity

Book a class in three taps.

A brand and website for an independent Pilates studio, with a class schedule you can book from in three taps.

Scope
6 deliverables · 4 phases

The challenge

Independent studios compete with big chains on the one screen that matters: the schedule. Most send people to a third-party booking page that looks nothing like the studio and asks for an account first.

Goals

  • Designed so a new visitor can find a class and book it in three taps.
  • Designed to feel like the studio itself: calm, warm and unhurried.
  • Built so the studio can update classes, teachers and prices without a developer.

Approach.

  1. 01

    Schedule on the home page

This week’s classes are the second thing you see, filtered by level and time of day.

  2. 02

    An identity from the room

The mark is drawn from the arc of a reformer spring; colours come from the studio’s clay walls and oak floor.

  3. 03

    Booking without leaving

The booking provider sits behind a native-feeling sheet in the site’s own design.

What we built.

A brand identity, a fast website with schedule, teachers, pricing and journal pages, and an embedded booking flow styled to match.

Design decisions.

  • Slow motion

Transitions are long and soft. Nothing bounces. The site should breathe the way a class does.

  • Serif for warmth

A soft serif for headlines and a plain sans for times and prices keeps the schedule easy to scan.

  • Times, not dates

People think “tomorrow at seven”, so the schedule leads with day names and times.

How it would ship.

The plan we would run for a project like this, with a demo every week.

  1. Week 1Studio visit, positioning, brand directions
  2. Weeks 2–3Identity system, website design
  3. Weeks 3–6Build, CMS, booking integration
  4. Week 7Content, launch, handover
