Privacy notice.
Last updated October 2026.
Template — review with counsel. This text is a starting point written for a studio website with no tracking cookies. Have a qualified lawyer review and adapt it for your company, jurisdiction and services before relying on it.
This notice explains what personal data The Providers (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. If you have a question, email hello@theproviders.io.
The short version
- We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.
- We only collect what you choose to send us — for example through the project brief form, email or WhatsApp.
- We use it to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the project.
What we collect
When you contact us
If you send a project brief, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you provide: typically your name, email address, company name, the services you are interested in, budget and timeline ranges, and your message.
When you browse
Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the website securely, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs that are kept for a limited period. We do not use this data to identify you.
Storage on your device
The site stores one small value in your browser’s session storage to remember that the opening animation has already played. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the tab. We do not set cookies.
If we add privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics in future, we will update this notice and name the provider.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To deliver a project — performance of our contract with you.
- To keep the website secure and working — our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal obligations — for example, keeping invoices and accounting records.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the studio, such as website hosting, email, messaging and, if configured, a form-handling service. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. When you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy terms also apply. We do not sell or rent personal data.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. Project and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email hello@theproviders.io. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We will post any changes to this notice on this page and update the date at the top.
